Upgraded to Hoary this weekend installed latest gdesklets & gdesklets-data and got exactly the same results as AlvaroBF, I couldn't load ANY displays, tried various methods, from the shell, from run box, or by clicking on the actual display file in the gdesklets directory, also tried deleting gdesklets from my home directory then logging back on.
